ERC-4626 Vaults as On-Chain Policy for AI Agents

ERC-4626 standardizes vault accounting. Amplified extends that foundation with policy, adapters and risk limits for AI-managed on-chain capital.

ERC-4626 created a common interface for tokenized vaults, standardizing how deposits, withdrawals, assets and shares are represented. For Amplified, that standard is the accounting foundation for a larger idea: the vault as an enforceable on-chain policy for AI-managed capital.

What ERC-4626 Standardizes

ERC-4626 gives wallets, protocols and analytics tools a consistent way to understand vault shares and underlying assets. Standardization improves composability and reduces integration complexity, but it does not by itself define how a sophisticated strategy should choose markets or control risk.

From Accounting Primitive to Capital Policy

Amplified builds additional layers around the vault. Strategy mandates define objectives. Adapters define the external protocols the vault can reach. Risk parameters define exposure and execution boundaries. AI agents can then operate inside that environment without changing its underlying rules.

Why This Matters for Agentic Finance

An AI agent should not be the ultimate custodian or unrestricted transaction authority. It should be an intelligence and operations layer connected to deterministic infrastructure. ERC-4626 makes vault positions legible; policy modules make agent authority bounded; on-chain execution makes the result verifiable.

A Better User Experience

Users receive a standardized vault position instead of manually managing many protocol positions. The agent system handles research and rebalancing, while users can inspect vault assets, share accounting and transactions through familiar on-chain tools.

The Result

ERC-4626 is not the whole Amplified product, but it is an important base layer. It allows distinct mandates—from liquid high-cap and correlated digital assets to approved tokenized instruments—to be packaged as composable on-chain products while preserving standardized accounting and controlled deposits and withdrawals.
